Some info about conjurers! - Keeper of the moon - Counselor and mediator of his current free company, which is basically a guild. - Formerly a vagrant conjurer who did easy adventurer jobs/quests, but disliked the lack of privacy. - From a small spiritualist clan on the fringes of "human" society. His people worshipped the goddess of the moon, and he's really into his creed. - He used to have a baby blue seeing eye chocobo named MARBLES. Very smart and special bird. Yhah'a will miss him. Personality: Pleasant! - patient and even tempered; always smiling and always calm - good conversationalist - charming; likes to flirt a little (very complimentary), but isn't gross - likes to give advice and legitimately seems invested in the lives of other people and improving them - even tempered- despite being sensitive, empathetic and kind, Yhah'a very rarely gets emotional. In fact, for all his pleasantness, he comes across as quite distant. Clever! - very good at adapting and survival; he's also a pretty good judge of character and can read people pretty well - creative! likes to write songs and sing - he loves to learn as much as he can about people to find patterns enough to understand basic psychology. Understanding people and empathy is very important to him, so he tries to keep that muscle strong. - he also does this shit to protect himself, but.... u kno. duality. people is complicated Secretly a jerk! and secretly lazy - if he feels that people are pitying him for his disability, Yhaha will take them for a goddamn ride and try to make them regret it. He really resents being made to feel useless. For example, when he and a friend of his were in the early stages of their relationship, his friend kept trying to coddle him. Frustrated, Yhah'a decided to relent and let his friend baby him- but also roped him into cleaning his entire room, sorting his teas, drawing him a bath and starting him a fire. His friend realized in retrospect he'd seen Yhah'a do many of those things himself, to which Yhah'a replied while tuning his lute in front of the fire his friend started for him: "Indeed." His friend didn't treat him so helplessly thereafter, and they became closer. Of course, Yhah'a does legitimately need help sometimes, and he does gratefully accept it in those circumstances- he just appreciates when people know the distinctions of what he truly can and cannot do. - so he is legitimately a good person- 75% of the time. - for example he lives for being witness to people getting dragged; when they deserve it. like sure, he's they deserve it—but there's a suspicious amount of schaudenfrued involved, there.... - he also loves to tease people, or sometimes, make them feel small or dumb. He likes to bully his friends out of affection. - he prefers being a house cat than to go out adventuring, though he would never so directly admit his own laziness. He most enjoys lazing around in his quarters, eating the cook's food, smoking fantasy opium or drinking fantasy opium tea, and if he's lucky, spending long evenings and long mornings with familiar bedfellows. If he could, he would do nothing forever and would prefer not to work- but he prefers that people think of him as useful and hardworking, so he invests in the perceptions of others. For now. If he ever got fabulously wealthy, he would definitely just never work again. Private! - Likes to get a full inventory of information on other people, but keeps his own details generally well guarded. It's not to say he would NEVER EVER!! share personal information. He LIKES people, he just doesn't trust them. Spiritual! - worships Menphina, but can't do it in LC; he still follows her example spiritually. - he thinks of helping other people as part of his creed, as Menphina is the goddess of love. Ultimately, Yhah'a wants to help and to heal. - he also thinks of intimacy as part of his creed- it takes him a lot to trust someone enough to let into his bed, but sex isn't his only avenue through this, while it does certainly apply- and some people have reported that Yhah'a's sex is uncomfortably intimate, given that he seems to only do casual encounters or friends with benefits stuff. But cuddling and grooming is another way for the spirit to heal, he thinks. - conjurers generally share the same write Lonely! - Yhah'a longs for family and belonging; he never wanted the nomadic life of a keeper male, and was heart broken when his immediate family began to shut him out of their unit to encourage him to leave the keep when he was 17. On top of the attack from his mother, Yhah'a's feelings of being rejected are still a very deep and unhealed wound. But he also finds himself unable to open himself up to people enough to again find spiritual intimacy, like what he had with his keep. - He's also very soft on women because he misses his sisters and mother so much. Abilities: He can do all kinds of cool magic because he's a conjurer, which is like. The larval stage of a white mage. While he's quite talented as a conjurer, he's still pretty average, believable NPC. Relevant Experience: He was a mediator and counselor at his Free Company (guild), so he's good at soothing and escalating people. Reason for Joining: Depression?
